Flow Five Snowboard Bindings | Rear-Entry Performance & Comfort
The Flow Five bindings are built for riders who demand speed without sacrificing control. Our rear-entry Speedy Entry system lets you drop in and lock down in seconds — no bending, no fumbling with straps on cold mornings. The PowerTriangle baseplate delivers edge-to-edge power transfer while the ExoFrame ankle strap wraps your boot for precise heel hold.
We designed the Five for all-mountain progression. The asymmetric hybrid highback flexes naturally through turns, and the N-Gel heel cushioning absorbs chatter on hardpack or in the park. Whether you're lapping groomers or building confidence in variable snow, the Flow Five gives you the response you need to ride harder.
What makes the Five fast

Rear-entry speed meets highback support
The Flow Five uses our Speedy Entry system — the highback flips down so you step in from behind, then clicks upright to lock your boot. No stooping to buckle ladders. The Locking Slap Ratchet on the ankle strap completes the closure with one pull, and the ratchet stays tensioned run after run.
The asymmetric hybrid highback gives you lateral support without over-stiffening forward flex. Medium stiffness means you can butter and press when you want, but the PowerTriangle baseplate underneath ensures every edge input reaches your board. That combination makes the Five a confident choice whether you’re carving blues or learning switch landings.

PowerTriangle baseplate and cushioning
We built the PowerTriangle baseplate from dual-density nylon composite — stiffer under the heel cup and toe ramp, more forgiving at the perimeter. That geometry triangulates force from heel and toe directly to your effective edge, so less energy gets lost twisting the binding.
N-Gel pads sit under your heel to absorb high-frequency vibration. You feel the difference on icy groomers and late-season crud — less leg fatigue, more control. The universal disc fits 4×4, 2×4, and Burton’s Channel, so you can mount the Five on nearly any deck without adapters.
ExoFrame ankle strap and adjustability
The ExoFrame 2.0 strap wraps from your instep around your ankle in a single piece, distributing pressure evenly. The strap’s inner EVA foam layer molds to your boot over the first few days of riding, while the outer shell holds its shape season after season.
Forward lean adjusts tool-free with a three-position lever on the highback. Strap length and toe ramp angle dial in without a screwdriver, so you can fine-tune fit in the parking lot. Riders coming from strap bindings appreciate that once the Five is dialed, it stays dialed — the Locking Slap Ratchet doesn’t creep loose mid-run.

Common questions about the Flow Five
The Flow Five works with any snowboard boot brand. The toe ramp slides to accommodate different boot lengths, and the ExoFrame ankle strap adjusts for varying boot shapes. Stiffer freeride boots pair well with the medium-flex highback, while softer freestyle boots let you exploit the binding's playful side.
Make sure your boot size falls within the binding size range — S for men's 6–8, M for 8–11, L for 11+. The strap and highback adjust independently, so you can fine-tune fit even if your boot is at the edge of a size bracket.
Yes. The Flow Five's medium flex and asymmetric highback are built for park progression. The binding flexes enough for butters and presses, but the PowerTriangle baseplate gives you pop and edge hold on jumps and rails.
The N-Gel heel cushioning absorbs landing impact, and the ExoFrame ankle strap keeps your boot locked during spins. Riders who spend equal time in the park and on groomers find the Five hits the sweet spot between playful and responsive.
The Flow Five ships with a universal mounting disc that fits Burton's Channel system, plus standard 4×4 and 2×4 patterns. No adapter required — the disc slides into the Channel track and locks down with the included hardware.
Set your stance width and angles as usual, then tighten the disc screws. The PowerTriangle baseplate sits flush on Channel boards without any wobble or extra spacing.
Most riders step into the Flow Five in under three seconds once the binding is adjusted to their boot. Flip the highback down, slide your boot in from the rear, pop the highback upright, and pull the Locking Slap Ratchet.
Getting out is even faster — release the ratchet, flip the highback down, and step out. You never touch a ladder strap or kneel in the snow. First-time users typically master the motion within a few runs.
The Flow Five sits in the middle of our lineup. It's softer and more park-friendly than the NX2, which uses a carbon highback for freeride aggression. The Five is stiffer and more all-mountain capable than the Nexus, our ultralight jib binding.
All Flow bindings share the rear-entry Speedy Entry system and PowerTriangle baseplate geometry. The Five balances freestyle flex with groomer performance, making it the most versatile choice for intermediate to advanced riders who want one binding for everything.
The Flow Five is built to last multiple seasons. The nylon composite baseplate resists impact cracks, the aluminum heel cup won't bend, and the ExoFrame ankle strap's outer shell holds its shape through hundreds of days.
The Locking Slap Ratchet mechanism is the same ladder-free design we've used since 2018, with thousands of riders logging full winters without failure. We back the Five with a one-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Yes. The Flow Five highback has a three-position forward lean adjustment lever on the back. Flip the lever, tilt the highback to your preferred angle, and lock it down — no screwdriver needed.
You can also adjust strap length and toe ramp position tool-free. The only time you need a Phillips head is for initial disc mounting on your board. After that, all fit tweaks happen in the parking lot with bare hands.
