★★★★★
“The Supermatic changed how I ride. I get more runs in per day, my feet stay warm, and the response on hardpack is unreal. I’ll never go back to traditional straps.”

Nidecker Supermatic step-in mechanism
The Supermatic Advantage

Step In With Your Boots Already Strapped

The Nidecker Supermatic is the only binding that lets you leave your straps set. Drop the highback with the pull of a lever, step in until you hear the click, snap the highback back into place — you’re locked in and riding.

  • Works with any standard snowboard boot — no proprietary hardware
  • Traditional 2-strap hold once you’re clicked in
  • Auto-locking Sure Lock mechanism confirms every entry
  • Fits all major disc patterns: 2×4, 4×4, Channel
Flow NX2 rear-entry highback
Rear-Entry, Perfected

Flip the Highback. Slide In. Go.

Flow’s rear-entry system has defined fast-lap snowboarding for nearly three decades. The reclining highback lets you slide your foot straight in from the back — your straps stay pre-tuned, ride after ride, season after season.

  • PowerStrap and Hybrid options for freestyle to freeride response
  • ExoFit and Fusion strap systems distribute pressure evenly
  • Aluminum baseplate and heelcup on flagship NX2 and Nexus
  • Toolless forward-lean and strap adjustment on the mountain

What Our Riders Are Saying

★★★★★
“I switched from a top-tier traditional binding to the Flow NX2 last season. The response on carves is every bit as sharp, and I’m getting 3-4 more runs a day because I’m not sitting down to strap in. It just works.”

★★★★★
“The Supermatic sold me the second I tried a demo pair. Clicking in with gloved hands, no bending over, no cold feet — this is the future of bindings. My wife bought a pair three days after seeing mine.”

Elena M. All-Mountain · Park City
★★★★★
“Coach for a youth team and I put every kid on Flow Micron or Fenix bindings. Parents love that lessons actually start on time instead of the first 20 minutes being a strap tutorial. The kids are riding, not fumbling.”

Frequently Asked

Flow & Nidecker Supermatic Binding FAQ

How is the Nidecker Supermatic different from a Flow rear-entry binding?

Both let you skip re-strapping every run, but they get there differently. Flow bindings use a reclining highback — you flip it down, slide your foot in from the back, and lock the highback back up. The Nidecker Supermatic is a true step-in: you drop the highback with a lever, step down onto the binding until you hear the Sure Lock click, then snap the highback closed. The Supermatic gives you a more upright entry (no bending over), while Flow rear-entry gives you a wider opening. Both work with any standard snowboard boot.

Do Flow and Nidecker Supermatic bindings work with my current snowboard?

Yes. Every Flow binding and every Nidecker Supermatic ships with mounting hardware for the three major disc patterns: traditional 2×4, 4×4, and Burton’s Channel (ICS) system. If your board takes any modern snowboard binding, ours will bolt right on.

Are rear-entry bindings as responsive as traditional strap bindings?

On our flagship models — Flow NX2, NX2 Carbon, NX2 Hybrid, Nexus, and the entire Supermatic line — absolutely. These bindings use full aluminum baseplates and heelcups with high-density highbacks that transfer edge input as sharply as any premium 2-strap binding. Softer models like the Flow Alpha, Fenix, and Five are tuned for all-mountain and freestyle flex on purpose.

What size Flow or Supermatic binding should I get?

Match the binding size to your boot size, not your board width. Most models come in S (US men’s 5–8), M (8–10.5), and L (10.5+). For riders with US 11+ boots, look at the Nidecker Supermatic XL — it’s built specifically for larger footprints. Every product page on this store lists the exact boot size range for that model. When in doubt, size up rather than down.

Stop Sitting Down to Strap In.

Whether it’s the click-in speed of the Nidecker Supermatic or the classic rear-entry glide of a Flow NX2, your next binding change is your last strap tutorial.
