Flow NX2 Snowboard Bindings | Rear-Entry Speed & All-Mountain Performance
The Flow NX2 brings our proven rear-entry design to riders who demand all-mountain versatility without sacrificing speed. Step in, lock down, and ride — the NX2's PowerStrap and active strap technology keep your boot secure through every turn, while the N.A.S.T.Y. Lite chassis balances response and forgiveness across groomers, powder, and park features.
We built the NX2 for intermediate to advanced riders who've outgrown beginner setups but still want the efficiency of rear entry. The asymmetrical highback drives edge-to-edge power, and the Fusion PowerStrap wraps your boot for heel-hold that rivals traditional two-strap designs. Whether you're lapping the lift or sessioning side hits, the NX2 adapts to your style.
Core tech inside the NX2

N.A.S.T.Y. Lite chassis & rockered baseplate
The NX2 rides on our N.A.S.T.Y. Lite platform — a nylon-composite baseplate that delivers consistent flex without the dead-spot washout some entry-level composites suffer. We rockered the baseplate profile to mirror modern board camber, so the binding moves with the deck instead of fighting it. You’ll notice smoother turn initiation and less chatter on hardpack.
The asymmetrical highback wraps around your calf at an angle that matches how your ankle naturally flexes forward. This geometry reduces pressure points during long runs and keeps response direct when you need to drive an edge. Many riders moving up from beginner boards appreciate the NX2’s balance — it won’t punish mistakes, but it won’t hold you back when you’re ready to charge.

Fusion PowerStrap & Active Strap Technology
Our Fusion PowerStrap replaces the traditional ankle and toe straps with a single wrap that pulls your boot into the highback and footbed at once. One ratchet pull cinches both zones, cutting strap-in time in half. The strap itself uses Active Strap Technology — a rockered profile that conforms to your boot’s shape rather than forcing your foot into a fixed pocket.
Heel hold without pressure points
The PowerStrap’s upper section doubles as the ankle strap, wrapping over your instep and locking your heel down. Because the strap rocks with your boot’s natural flex, you get secure hold without the top-of-foot numbness some single-strap designs create. We added EVA padding along the strap’s contact zones to spread pressure evenly, so your feet stay comfortable through all-day sessions.
Rear-entry convenience meets adjustable performance
Flow pioneered rear-entry bindings, and the NX2 carries that DNA forward. Drop your boot into the highback, pull the PowerStrap lever, and you’re locked in — no bending over, no fumbling with multiple buckles. The Locking Slap Ratchet on the highback lets you dial forward lean in seconds, so you can tune response between park laps and steep groomers without tools.
The universal disc fits both 4×4 and 2×4 inserts, and the baseplate’s stance-angle markers make setup fast. We paired the underfoot rockered bed with a canted footbed that aligns your knee over the board’s edge — subtle ergonomics that reduce fatigue and improve edge engagement. Riders who value efficiency love the rear-entry speed; riders who care about performance appreciate that the NX2 doesn’t compromise lock or response to deliver it.

Common questions about the NX2
The NX2 uses a hinged highback that drops open, letting you step into the binding from behind. Once your boot is seated in the footbed, you pull the highback up and lock the PowerStrap ratchet — the entire process takes about three seconds. The Active Strap wraps your boot automatically as the highback closes, eliminating the need to bend down and adjust separate toe and ankle straps.
The NX2 works with most medium-flex snowboard boots (flex rating 5–7 out of 10). We don't recommend pairing it with very soft beginner boots, as they lack the structure to fully engage the highback's response. Extremely stiff freeride boots can overpower the N.A.S.T.Y. Lite chassis on hard landings. Match your boot size to the binding size chart — Small fits US men's 6–8, Medium fits 8–10, Large fits 10–13.
The Nexus steps up to a stiffer N.A.S.T.Y. Pro chassis with carbon fiber reinforcement, making it better suited for aggressive riders who charge hard and need maximum power transfer. The flow nx2 uses the lighter N.A.S.T.Y. Lite composite, offering a more forgiving medium flex that suits all-mountain freestyle and intermediate to advanced riders. Both share the same Fusion PowerStrap technology, but the Nexus adds an ExoFrame ankle strap for even tighter heel lock.
No. The NX2's Locking Slap Ratchet forward-lean adjuster is completely tool-less. Lift the small lever on the back of the highback, slide the adjuster to your preferred angle, and release the lever to lock it in place. You can make adjustments on the mountain in seconds, which is helpful when switching from park laps to steeper terrain.
Yes. The Fusion PowerStrap locks both your instep and heel simultaneously, delivering heel hold that matches or exceeds separate ankle and toe straps. Because the strap wraps continuously from toe to highback, it distributes pressure more evenly and eliminates the dead zones some two-strap setups create. Six seasons of rider feedback confirm zero heel lift or slippage when the strap is properly tightened.
Flow sells replacement parts for the NX2, including PowerStraps, ratchet ladders, ankle strap pivots, and highback screws. The modular design lets you swap individual components without replacing the entire binding. Check our parts catalog or contact support with your binding's serial number to order the exact replacement piece you need.
Yes. The NX2 includes a universal mounting disc that accommodates both 4×4 and 2×4 insert patterns. The disc also provides a wide range of stance-angle adjustments, so you can dial your preferred duck or forward stance without adapter plates. Mounting hardware and washers are included in the box.
